What is the difference between hot rolled and cold drawn carbon steel bars?
Hot rolled carbon steel bars are commonly used for general fabrication, construction, and structural applications. Cold drawn bars offer a smoother surface and tighter dimensional tolerances, making them suitable for machined parts, shafts, and precision components.

Carbon steel bars are usually packed in bundles with steel straps for shipment. Special export packing can also be arranged based on bar size, order quantity, and shipping requirements.
