FAQ
What grades and standards do you supply?
We regularly supply carbon steel sheets and plates in ASTM A36, AISI 1010/1020/1045, EN S235JR/S275JR/S355JR, JIS SS400/SPHC, and GB Q235B/Q355B. Pressure vessel grades such as ASTM A516 Gr. 60/70 and other special grades are also available.
What is the difference between hot rolled and cold rolled steel sheets?
Hot rolled steel is commonly used for structural work, fabrication, machinery, and other applications where surface finish is not the main concern. Cold rolled steel has a smoother surface and closer dimensional tolerances, and is often used for automotive parts, appliances, cabinets, and other formed components.
What carbon steel sheet and plate sizes are available?
We supply carbon steel sheet and plate in a wide range of thicknesses, widths, and lengths. Standard sizes are available, and material can also be cut to your required dimensions.
Can you cut or process carbon steel sheets and plates?
Yes. Processing services include cut-to-length, laser cutting, plasma cutting, bending, and punching. If you have a drawing or cutting list, send it with your inquiry and we can check the processing requirements.
Do you provide MTC and third-party inspection?
Yes. A Mill Test Certificate (MTC) can be provided with the order. Third-party inspection by SGS, BV, TÜV, or other inspection agencies can also be arranged before shipment.
How are carbon steel sheets and plates packed for export?
Sheets and plates are usually packed on pallets or in steel bundles with steel straps and edge protection. Waterproof wrapping and other export packing can be added when needed.
What information do you need for a quote?
Please send us the grade, thickness, width, length, and quantity, together with the destination port. If you need cutting, surface treatment, inspection, or special packing, please include those details as well.
