FAQ
What grades and standards do you supply?
We regularly supply carbon steel pipes to API 5L Gr. B, X42, X52 and X65, ASTM A53, ASTM A106 Gr. B, ASTM A333, EN 10210, EN 10219, and GB Q235/Q355. Other grades and standards can also be supplied if required.
What is the difference between seamless and welded carbon steel pipes?
Seamless pipes have no welded seam and are commonly used for pressure service, oil and gas lines, boilers, and fluid transport. Welded pipes, including ERW, LSAW, and SSAW, are generally more economical and are widely used for water pipelines, structural work, and large-diameter applications.
What sizes and wall thicknesses are available?
We supply carbon steel pipes in a wide range of outside diameters and wall thicknesses. Common schedules such as SCH 40, SCH 80, STD, and XS are available, as well as non-standard thicknesses and custom lengths.
Can carbon steel pipes be cut, beveled, or coated?
Yes. We can provide cut-to-length, beveled ends, and different surface treatments. Available options include black painting, anti-rust oil, varnish, 3PE, and FBE coating, depending on the pipe specification and order requirements.
Do you provide MTC and third-party inspection?
Yes. A Mill Test Certificate (MTC) can be provided with the order. Third-party inspection by SGS, BV, TÜV, or other inspection agencies can also be arranged before shipment.
How are carbon steel pipes packed for export?
Pipes are usually packed in bundles with steel straps. Small-diameter pipes can also be packed in woven bags or wooden cases. Plastic end caps and waterproof wrapping are available when needed.
What information do you need for a quote?
Please send us the pipe type, grade, outside diameter, wall thickness, length, and quantity. If you have any coating, beveling, packing, or inspection requirements, please include them together with the destination port.
