Hot Rolled Carbon Steel Coil (HRC) is a high-temperature hot-formed carbon steel raw material, specially designed and widely supplied for construction and structural engineering projects. We offer multiple standard grades including Q235B, Q355B, ASTM A36 and S235JR to satisfy different load-bearing and fabrication requirements of building works.
During hot rolling production, the steel is processed above recrystallization temperature, which reduces internal stress and delivers stable mechanical properties. This HRC features outstanding plasticity, reliable weldability and good formability. It can be easily cut, stamped, bent and welded for secondary processing. Two surface options are available: original black hot rolled surface, or pickled & oiled (P&O) surface to remove oxide scale and provide temporary rust prevention.
We can provide a full range of sizes: thickness from 1.5mm to 20mm, width ranging from 600mm to 2000mm. Custom slitting and cutting services are supported, so we can split the master coil into narrow steel strips or cut into steel plates according to clients’ drawings and dimension requests. Each production batch can be supplied with Mill Test Certificate (MTC), which records chemical composition and mechanical test data for inspection.
This construction-grade hot rolled carbon steel coil is extensively used for building structural components, steel frame fabrication, highway guardrails, support brackets, foundation steel parts and general engineering metal fabrication.
For export shipment, coils are wrapped with waterproof inner paper, outer metal protective covers and fastened by heavy-duty steel straps. This seaworthy packing protects the steel coil from moisture, collision and shifting during long ocean transportation.
