Available in sizes from 20×20 mm up to 250×250 mm with thickness from 2.5 mm to 35 mm, our structural steel angles comply with ASTM A36, ASTM A572 Grade 50, EN 10025 (S235JR/S355JR), JIS G3101 (SS400), and GB/T 706.
Forming, Strength & Connection Advantages
Hot-rolled steel angle sections deliver high torsional rigidity and compressive strength relative to their cross-sectional weight. Their right-angle 90° geometry makes them the universal structural element for diagonal cross-bracing, web members in open-web joists, column base stiffeners, and corner lintels.
The dual planar flanges provide clean surface contact for bolting, riveting, and fillet welding. Pre-punched slotted holes and notched heel/toe cutouts can be pre-machined at our factory according to structural detailing drawings (Tekla / AutoCAD) to minimize field modification and speed up on-site erection.

Where Are Steel Angles (Angle Bars) Used?
Hot-rolled steel angles provide essential cross-bracing strength, corner reinforcement, and rigid mechanical connections across civil infrastructure, heavy industrial buildings, power transmission networks, and logistics equipment.
Structural Steel Framing, Roof Trusses & Diagonal Bracing
Steel angles serve as critical diagonal cross-braces, web members in long-span roof trusses, and purlin connectors across industrial steel-framed buildings. Their 90° profile resists wind and seismic shear loads, stabilizing main structural columns and beams during and after construction.

Factory Stock, Interlocking Bundling & High-Density Storage
Produced with strict 90° leg perpendicularity and uniform thickness. Stocked in tightly nested, interlocking bundles strapped with high-tensile steel bands and marked with clear mill specification tags, maximizing warehouse storage density and ensuring safe overhead crane lifting.

Seaworthy Container Export Packing & Layered Timber Dunnage
Arranged in tiered rows inside shipping containers with solid wooden dunnage sleepers between layers and heavy-duty ratchet tie-down straps. Clear barcode tags and color-coded labels on every bundle ensure fast customs clearance and convenient unloading at overseas destination ports.

Frequently Asked Questions About Heavy Duty Structural Angle Steel 100x100x10mm Hot Rolled Steel Profile
1. What is the difference between equal and unequal steel angles?
The difference lies in leg dimensions:
• Equal Angle: Both legs have identical widths (A = B), creating symmetrical moments of inertia along both principal axes. Widely used for standard trusses, cross-braces, and transmission towers.
• Unequal Angle: One leg is longer than the other (A ≠ B), providing directional bending resistance along the major axis. Commonly specified for lintels, shelf angles in masonry support, and framing where asymmetrical loads occur.
2. What steel grades and international standards do you supply for angle bars?
We supply structural angle bars across all major global standards:
• American Standard: ASTM A36 (mild structural steel), ASTM A572 Grade 50 (high-strength low-alloy), and ASTM A529.
• European Standard: EN 10025-2 in S235JR, S275JR, and high-yield S355JR / S355J2 with impact testing.
• Japanese Standard: JIS G3101 SS400 and JIS G3106 SM490.
• Chinese Standard: GB/T 706 Q235B and Q355B.
3. What size range and custom fixed lengths are available?
We produce equal angles from 20×20 mm up to 250×250 mm (thickness 2.5–35 mm) and unequal angles from 45×30 mm up to 200×125 mm. Standard container lengths are 5.8 m (for 20GP containers) and 6.0 m, 11.8 m, 12.0 m (for 40GP/40HQ containers). We also supply custom cut-to-length angle bars with precise tolerances of ±2 mm.
4. What hot-dip galvanizing standards and coating thicknesses do you provide?
For power transmission towers, outdoor substations, and coastal installations, we provide hot-dip galvanizing complying with ASTM A123, ISO 1461, and AS/NZS 4680. The zinc coating thickness ranges from 60 µm to over 100 µm (450–700 g/m²), ensuring over 30–50 years of corrosion-free service life without maintenance.
5. Can angle bars be pre-punched, cut, and stamped before export?
Yes. Our fabrication workshop is equipped with automated CNC angle lines offering:
• Round hole drilling and slotted hole punching for connection bolts.
• 45° and 90° miter cutting and beveling.
• Heel and toe notching for corner intersections.
• Hard piece-number stamping for rapid identification and assembly during tower/frame erection.
6. How are steel angles bundled and packed for container export?
Angle bars are nested interlocking into compact rectangular bundles, bound with high-tensile steel straps (4–6 straps per bundle), and fitted with wire lifting loops. In container loading, bundles are separated by wooden dunnage sleepers and secured with heavy-duty ratchet straps to prevent shifting during maritime transit.
