0.12 mm to 1.9 mm Thick Cold-Rolled Carbon Steel Coil/Sheets – Dimensional Tolerances & Mechanical Properties

0.12–1.9 mm cold-rolled carbon steel sheets, supplied in coil or cut-to-length, come with close thickness and width tolerances per EN 10130 / ASTM A1008. Their consistent gauge and flatness make them a solid choice for stamping, deep drawing, and general industrial fabrication.

Cold rolled steel coil and sheet in 0.12–1.9 mm, covering the grades your press line actually runs: SPCC and Q195–Q235 for general fabrication, SAE 1006/1008/1010 for general stamping, and DC01 through DC04 as drawing and deep-drawing quality. Each batch is low-carbon, with composition held to ASTM A1008, GB/T 5213 or EN 10130 depending on the standard you order against.

The steel is pickled, annealed and cold rolled to final gauge, then temper rolled to the specified condition — soft annealed (CA) or half hard (HY). The finishing passes are what matter: they control the surface, set the flatness, and lock in the mechanical properties your forming process depends on. Coils come on 508 or 610 mm cores, up to 1,500 mm wide, and we slit or cut to length to your drawing before shipment.

On the forming side, this is where the material earns its keep. Thickness tolerance is held to the order standard, gauge stays even across the full coil, and flatness is good enough for high-speed lines without wobble. The CA tempers draw clean — no oil, no cracking on the flange — and the HY condition adds the springback resistance your stamped parts need. If you’re switching suppliers, send us your current spec sheet and a sample part. We’ll match the grade and confirm it on the first lot before you commit to volume.

Applications

Thanks to its tight dimensional tolerances, uniform mechanical properties and excellent formability, our 0.12–1.9 mm cold rolled steel coil is widely used in stamping, deep drawing and general industrial fabrication. Typical applications include appliance housings, electrical enclosures, automotive stampings, metal furniture and storage racks, as well as machined and bent structural components. The consistent gauge and good flatness ensure stable press-line performance, while the full range of drawing grades (DC01–DC04) supports everything from simple blanks to complex deep-drawn parts.

FAQ

1. What is your MOQ for cold rolled coil?

There’s no fixed minimum — it depends on grade, width and temper. Send us the spec you need and we’ll tell you the smallest quantity we can quote, and whether a mixed container works for your order.

2. SPCC, Q195 and DC01 — which one should I specify?

They’re the same commercial-quality steel under different naming systems — JIS, GB and EN. If your parts go through real drawing operations, ask for DC03 or DC04 instead; the commercial grades won’t hold up in deep-drawn shapes. Not sure which fits? Tell us the application and we’ll match the grade.

3. Can you slit coils to custom widths or cut to length?

Yes. Slitting runs from 100 mm up to 1500 mm, and cut-to-length sheets from 1,000 to 6,000 mm. Narrow slit widths are best ordered in bigger quantities — let us know your target size and we’ll confirm what’s workable.

4. What’s the lead time?

Stock thicknesses ship quickly once the order is confirmed; made-to-order runs take around 3–4 weeks. Every quote carries a firm date, so you know exactly when your coils leave — we don’t quote “it depends” on delivery.

5. Do the coils come with certificates? Can you arrange third-party inspection?

Each shipment goes out with an MTC per EN 10204 3.1. SGS or BV inspection before loading is arranged on request — we coordinate the surveyor and share the report before the vessel sails.
